The Coach.
Hi, I’m Tayler Davis, Theatre Actor and Personal Trainer.
I grew up in the south of England, but back in October 2017 I packed my bags and moved to Hamburg, Germany, to open the production ‘Kinky Boots das Musical’. I honestly haven’t looked back since.
I aim to combine my talents from the stage and expertise from the gym floor to deliver to you, the client, a sophisticated and comprehensive fitness plan tailored to your individual goals.
I used the Covid 19 pandemic to finally get certified as a level 3 personal trainer, even though I have already been coaching people for well over a decade. Whether that was helping friends out in the gym, devising nutrition plans for family members, running my Drama School’s warm up every day for 3 years, or being the ‘go-to therapist’ in all of my social circles.
I’ve been training in the gym for over 10 years, but fitness first entered my life at the ripe young age of 3 years old. As a hyperactive child; I was bouncing off of the walls, already learning the choreography of my favourite pop groups… a bit of Spice Girls or even Steps. At age 13 I bought my first set of dumbbells and have been lifting ever since. That already equates to over half of my lifetime lifting weights.
Back in January of 2023 I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system. After several rounds of chemotherapy, which aggressively attacked my heart, lungs and immune system, I am happy to to say that I was cancer free by June of the same year. I have spent the time since building myself back up to where I was and beyond: running my fitness business, booking theatre jobs again and generally enjoying life with a new sense of gratitude.
Reader, I write about that experience to show you that I have first-hand experience of what it is like starting from scratch after battling disease, depression, sickness and fatigue. I wouldn’t change it for the world as it’s made me a much better coach, and a more compassionate human.
Well enough about me, if you’d like to learn more about me as a person, I’ve linked my personal Instagram within this page. Enjoy the dog pictures.
All the best,
Coach Tay.
